About Dr Brenda Tan

Dr Brenda Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She was selected to take part in an exchange programme to Shanghai Ninth People Hospital and the Peking University Stomatological Hospital.
Dr Brenda started her career serving the community at the National Healthcare Group Polyclinics. She then worked at National Dental Centre Singapore where she did a specialised posting in prosthodontics (crowns, bridges, and dentures). She also served as the Dental Officer In-Charge at Singhealth Polyclinics, where she supervised the management of the clinic in addition to her clinical work. Subsequently, she joined Khoo Teck Puat Hospital to serve a posting in Advanced General Dental Practice. Her experiences in the government service helped her to be proficient in a wide range of dental procedures, including aesthetic dentistry and the management of medically complex patients.
She believes in the value of continuing education and regularly attends courses and lectures to stay relevant with the latest developments in the dental profession. She prides herself to be a compassionate and approachable dentist who puts her patients at ease. She is also skilled at surgical procedures, such as wisdom teeth surgery and dental implants.
