About Dr Emily Tham

Dr Emily Tham graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree.
Following graduation, she served at SingHealth Polyclinics, where she was appointed Dental Officer-in-Charge. In this role, she gained valuable experience not only in clinical dentistry but also in leadership, team management, and patient communication.
Dr Emily subsequently joined National Dental Centre Singapore, where she completed specialised rotations in Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the Urgent Care Clinic. This comprehensive training has equipped her with the skills and confidence to provide a broad range of dental treatments for patients of all ages.
Dr Emily values patient-centered care. She understands that many individuals may feel anxious about dental visits and is committed to creating a comfortable and supportive environment by listening attentively to her patients’ concerns, and providing treatment with a gentle, and empathetic approach. She believes in empowering patients through education and preventive care, helping them achieve and maintain long-term oral health.
Dedicated to continuous professional development, Dr Emily regularly attends courses and workshops to stay current with the latest advances in dental techniques and technology. Outside of dentistry, Dr Emily enjoys cooking and baking for her friends and family.
