Dr Gavin Tsu graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS).
Following his graduation, Dr Gavin began his career at SingHealth Polyclinics, where he provided general dental care in a public primary healthcare setting before moving to the Health Promotion Board (Paediatric Dentistry). There, he treated school children in mobile dental clinics and cared for younger pre-school patients at the HPB Centre, focusing on preventive care and creating positive early dental experiences. He later served with the Singapore Armed Forces, where he gained extensive experience in wisdom tooth surgeries, root canal treatments, and restorative work including crowns, bridges, and dentures.
Dr Gavin believes that being a relatable dentist begins with listening to his patients and understanding their concerns, developing a calm and reassuring approach that helps them feel at ease. To stay abreast of advances in dental technology and techniques, he continually attends courses and seminars to improve patient satisfaction and treatment outcomes. He is passionate about providing gentle, personalised care that helps patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.
Beyond dentistry, Dr Gavin enjoys playing tennis, running, and cycling to stay active and maintain a balanced lifestyle.
